The path is light colored and sandy. It crunches a little bit underfoot. The grass is a bit sparse, dark green, and dusty, wilting and a bit tamped down. The trees surrounding the path give off a light, pleasant scent. It is considerably cooler here under the branches of the trees than it is out under the sun. The trees seem to be the kind that bloom in spring. There are discarded seeds and flower debris littered here and there where the wind hasn't blown it away completely yet. The path splits into a few directions. You can follow it west or east, or you can head back to the road to the south. The path heads straight towards the stone wall north of here. |
