Adoption Rules
Following rules is fun! Uh ... yeah ... just trust me on this one ^_^;; These rules are important, it is in your best interest to read and understand them.
You must have a webpage to keep your chevei on.
You can adopt one chevei at a time. If you don't get drawn one time, you can try the next.
You must link back to my site exactly on the page where you keep your chevei:

I am not strict about the amount of time you have to get your chevei up from the time you receive it. But a week is more than enough time to do it in, and that is what you are given (7 days). By then, you should have e-mailed me with your chevei's URL. If you encounter a problem, e-mail! ^_^

Non Rules
When you think you want a chevei, one of the first things to decide is the pair you want the foal out of (the parents). You can choose a stallion and mare from the seed herd, or you can choose to find a pair from adopted chevei and have an extended breeding.
Adoption works like this. You fill out an entry in the guestbook when it says there are openings in the status box at the top of the herd page. When there are enough entries, I randomly draw the adopters from that selection. As with lorriams, if I feel like it, sometimes all entries will get foals.
My view about adopting is this. Whatever happens, these chevei will always be mine. So if you abandon your chevei, I have no problem giving it to someone else, or just keeping it myself. It will always be mine to give because I created it. If you don't want a chevei enough to take care of it, don't adopt. It's that simple. |
